La Galería Rebelde is a contemporary art gallery founded by Jimena de Tezanos in 2019, motivated by the need to revolutionize local artistic production and creating exhibition proposals that allowed its entry into the map of acquisitions of contemporary collections within the global art scene.
Based in Guatemala City, our exhibition space is a disruptive platform in constant transformation, which seeks to create new conversations and narratives about artistic practices based on formal and conceptual experimentation of the artists it represents. It is also a satellite space, open to relations of creation, collaboration and exchange with artists and art projects locally and globally.
La Galería Rebelde is an artistic embassy that represents the most relevant and attractive proposals that take place in the contemporary scene of art, inside and outside of Guatemala, driven by the rebellious personality of its founder.
